PhotoGlobe does not only provide photos but also background information on geography, politics and culture. The background information is available both as "fact sheets" (published by the CIA) and in form of country studies published by the US Libray of Congress. These country studies are available as "Web books" or as installable eBooks. Both kinds of electronic books have their drawbacks and their benefits: while Web books provide instant and ready access to the required information, installable eBooks have the advantage of being available offline, and offer a multitude of navigation tools which makes it easy to find the information under quest.
We plan to publish several of so called "country studies" which focus on particular countries. The first two of these books deal with Austria and Mongolia. Please use the links below to access and/or download a particular book.
